BAPU Paediatric Urology Course 2026

The Annual BAPU Paediatric Urology Course will be held in the WEST COURT building at Jesus College, Jesus Lane, Cambridge CB5 8BL.  The course aims to cover the knowledge based Paediatric Urology Requirements of the Intercollegiate Curricula in Adult Urology and Paediatric Surgery.  There will be pre-course reading to do prior to attending the course and this will be accessible 2 weeks before the course and upto 2 weeks after the course. Log in details will be sent to your email to access this.  Please note that you can purchase access to reading materials by itself and this is purely just for the reading materials and does not include joining the course.  The course is in-person only in Cambridge with no online participation.

This is a full 2 day course running from 09:30 to 17:30 on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th September 2026.

Registration

Registration will open at 08:30 on Tuesday Morning, with the course starting at 09:30.  The Course will conclude on Wednesday at approximately 17:30.

Course Dinner

The course dinner will be hosted at Jesus College on Tuesday evening (if you purchase this option) - Drinks reception at 19:00, sit down at 19:30.

Accommodation

Accommodation for the Tuesday evening will be at Jesus College (if you purchase this option).  Entry to the rooms will be at from 2pm and keys will be given out from the Porters Lodge.  There will be a luggage room available for you to keep your bags safe. Rooms are also available on the Monday night if needed - you will need to purchase this ticket on top of your course ticket.

Parking

There is strictly NO PARKING available at the College.  There are lots of park and rides around Cambridge, taxi services, and buses to get you to the college.

The faculty for the course is comprised of Consultant Paediatric Urologists from the UK and abroad.  All have extensive experience in their field.

Course Format

During the course there will be lectures, Clinical case presentations and Interactive discussions.  There will also be an opportunity to take part in Viva Practice Sessions.

Viva Sessions

There will be an opportunity to partake in Viva Sessions on either Tuesday or Wednesday of the course.  Details of registering for Viva Sessions will be posted on the website and emailed to all participants at the beginning of August.
